- Represent both individuals and health care facilities to secure the appointment of a guardian of the person and/or property throughout the state of Maryland. For example, if an individual is incompetent and cannot consent to necessary medical treatment, a guardian of the person may be necessary. Furthermore, if an individual is incapacitated and cannot manage their personal finances, a guardian of the property may be appointed.
- Routinely file guardianship cases as counsel for the Petitioner. Additionally, our attorneys serve as counsel for the alleged disabled person and are often appointed by the court to serve as guardian of the property. We also represent an interested person in guardianship cases.
